About Us

Starting a business of my creative ideas has been a life-long dream, but you know how it is, one day goes by, then another, and the next thing you know nearly a lifetime has gone by with nothing done, but the dream is still there as big as ever. 

I grew up crafting and have many wonderful memories of my grandmother, Nanny, teaching me how to crochet and attaching sequins to just about anything. I have bounced around in many different mediums, never really finding one niche, but a love for many. 

Standing tall and embracing your truest self is the best self-love there is. It is not our place to judge others, and most importantly, we are all broken and trying to sort it out. 

Frankie & Max Designs was created with all this in mind. This is a pursuit of love, determination, and pure grit. I'm excited to share the future of this crazy endeavor with you, both the ups and the downs, and what I'm sure will be several crazy unexpected turns. I will be doing it knowing I am finally pursuing the dream and respecting my inner most self. 

Frankie & Max Designs has been built on the principles of love and celebration. We believe that everyone has the right and the responsibility to bring our truest selves in everything we do. We believe in celebrating and supporting each other in that journey. We believe in embracing uniqueness and celebrating imperfections. We believe in love. 

Our products are hand designed or handcrafted, using previously loved or eco-friendly materials as much as possible. Due to this, many of our designs are one-of-a-kind, and may have slight imperfections. Personally, I think this brings extra charm to our products, since not only are they truly unique, but they have the kind of imperfections that each of us has. In my eyes, this brings character to everything we do. 

So, in honor of Nanny, who was one of the most creative people I've known, and my dad, who encouraged me as a young girl to pursue my dream of being an artist, and all those who believed in me even when I didn't, here is Frankie & Max Designs.
